Issue of form 16 when an employee transferred from ho to bra

I need one urgent clarification with regard to issue of form 16. TDS was dedcuted for a part of the year at HO and subsequently transferred the employee to branch who is having different tan. Whethr the HO has to issue form 16 to employee for part of the year or branch will issue form 16 to employee for full year by getting information about the deductions from HO. please clarify

11 May 2012 The HO has to issue Form 16 for the part of the year.

The branch will issue the Form 16 for the period for which the employee worked with it.

However, it will include in such Form income paid by previous employer (HO) and tax deducted by previous employer (HO).
