Is teaching profession or business?

25 May 2012 I am taking tution classes for school students in my house. I am just a gradutate. But i give bills for the students. Will teaching be considered as business or profession? I am asking this because if this is profession i will not be eligible to file the return of income u/s 44AD as per the latest amendment. Can anyone help me in this regard?
