06 August 2011 I have received intimation u/s 143(1).I have already paid self assessment tax before e-return filing but the department has not consider self assessment tax Rs. 4560 and they computed tax laibility as computed Rs. 4560. how to give oniline answer? please tell me details.

06 August 2011 recheck the assessment year of your paid challan, and file rectification u/s 154.

06 August 2011 In the reason for rectification pl state as follows.
"Credit for self assessment tax Rs. 4,560/- paid on......vide challan no......through.....bank having bsr code....has not been given in the intimation.Hence rectification u/s 154 is sought for".
