PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING AND US GAPP.

Hi
Its a vast subject. What exactly u need in the US GAAP/International standards?
Briefly there are two most predominant Accounting Standard being followed internationally. One is the US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles which are mandatory in United States and for all companies listed there. There is another set of standards prescribed under IFRS - International Financial Reporting System and which is mandatory for European Countries.
Over the years IFRS is gaining wide importance and will also be mandatory in India from 2011.
