a person paid insurance premium his son's name RS 180000.
who can claim deduction u/sec 80C.
both are having income 500000.

18 December 2013 Upto 1 lakh rs is allowed under 80C.

the person who can claim the deduction.
1).The person who paid the insurance premium is allowed deduction u/sec 80c
OR
2).The person whose name(son)in the insurance premium is allowed deduction?

19 December 2013 only the person who pays premium is allowed as deduction u/s 80C.
