18 September 2012 Under Maharashtra VAT Act, input vat credit on purchases are available subject to rule 53. Specifically input credit for vat on purchases of any goods,the property in which is not transferred [whether as goods or in some other form] to any other person, which are used in the erection of immovable property other than plant and machinery is not available u/r. 54
