my article has just clear the c.a. exams he want to join a company, whether he has to inform institute or not.he has taken only membership.

Since he has taken membrship then, he is aqualifies CA, then theer is no problem in taking Job in a company.
Although, no timeline for intimation, but submitting a letter to ICAI for updatting your record would be a better option.
