Dear All,
If any person file individual return form-2(e-return) for the asst. year 2007-08 on 31-07-07 but he have not digital signature and he paid all income tax liability on 20-07-2007.But he submit form V(acknowledgement) with I Tax dept.on 24/10/2007 than Income Tax dept.,would be treat with assesse.

Hi Harish,
You should be fully conversant with the all the legal aspects. In case of e-retuurns, the acknowledgement in form no. V need to be filed within 30 days failing which the same shall not to treated to have been filed.
Kindly check with your respective Income Tax Department for the status of your return.
You may even log on to the website of the income tax department and check for your status. The address is : https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.jsp
