if an individual visits to singapore for doing job. leaves india on 20/02/2012 and comes again on 01/08/2013
how his income will be taxable ???

He is ordinary Resident n will b taxable in India.

for income earned from 21 February 2012 to March 31 2012, income shall be taxable in India.
For period 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2013, he shall be treated as Non-resident. Accordingly this income shall not be taxable in India.
For period 1 April 2013 to 1 August 2013, he shall again be treated as resident and the income earned during this period shall be taxable in india. (this is presuming that once he is back in India, he doesn't go out again till 31 March 2014.
For period 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2013, he shall be treated as Non-resident. Accordingly this income shall not be taxable in India.
For period 1 April 2013 to 1 August 2013, he shall again be treated as resident and the income earned during this period shall be taxable in india. (this is presuming that once he is back in India, he doesn't go out again till 31 March 2014.
