07 February 2012 Dear all can anyone please tell me applicability of Income tax Slab on various heads on Income.
And under which section Income qualify to be taxed under the slab rate

07 February 2012 For Individual female,Age less 60 years
Up to 190000 : Nil
190001-500000 : 10%
500001-800000 : 20%
800001 & above : 30%
For Individual, Age more than 60 Years ( Senior Citizen)
Up to 250000 : Nil
250001-500000 : 10%
500001-800000 : 20%
800001 & above : 30%
For Individual ,Age more than 80 Years ( most senior Citizen )
Up to 500000 : Nil
500001-800000 : 20%
800001 & above : 30%
For all other Individuals
Up to 180000 : Nil
180001-500000 : 10%
500001-800000 : 20%
800001 & above : 30%

Under Income tax no Head wise slabs, the above i given is the only slabs.

you need to calculate total income under 5 different head of income and compare with these slabs and calculate the Income tax.
