13 March 2012 Can anybody tell me About time limit for income tax refund? suppose i have filled return in Asst. Year 2010-11 & i want to Claim refund? how can Do this? pls

13 March 2012 What do you want to know? or Time limit for filing the return or time limit for issue of refund by the department?

You want to file the return for AY 2010-11?

The same can be filed upto 31.3.2012, but a penalty of Rs. 5,000/- may be levied for delay in filing return of income.
