i had filled my income tax 08/09 on aug 09 manually in thane
When i check Income tax refund online on web site https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/servlet/TaxRefundStatus
it shows
1)Your assessing officer has not sent this refund to Refund Banker.
2)If this refund has been sent by your Assessing Officer within the last week, you may wait for a week and again check status.
what does it means
where can i get an AO number where i can inquire about my Income tax refund.

Go to ward no in which you have filed return and Contact with AO personally
