Sir lets assume Sachin tendulkar recieved an income of 1 crore in the USA . Assume that he has paid the required taxes to the US govt and he finally remits the balance amount to Mumbai . Since he is a resident and ordinarily resident in india , will he be liable to pay IT on the balance that was transferred to mumbai ??

Yes he is required to pay tax on that remitted income.
