Import duty credit to buyer by a manufacturer!

This query is : Resolved

19 February 2016 Sir,

Can a manufacturer sell the imported goods directly (without any manufacturing process) to its client with pass on the import duty credit to its client? Manufacturer is not registered as a dealer under excise. If yes, please advise how.

Please reply urgently.

Thanks,
Vivek

22 February 2016 Thanks Arun Ji..

The Company has imported the finished goods as OEM and not as Trader of Excisable Goods under the Trading Excise License – instead on the manufacturer’s excise license.

Can still company can issue Excise Invoice to its client and pass on Duty Credit?

Please reply urgently.

Thanks,
Vivek .
