igst setoff first wth sgst and then with cgst

11 October 2017 Query- I have itc of sgst more than cgst, so can i set-off output igst first with sgst and then with cgst so that i can carry forward equal closing balance of cgst and sgst for next month

11 October 2017 Input of CGST can be set off only against CGST, SGST only against SGST and IGST against IGST, if there is excess input in IGST that can be set off against CGST first, then SGST, balance if any can be carried forward.

11 October 2017 CGST to SGST and SGST to CGST set off not available.... Set off ITC only for following way... IGST set off to first IGST 2nd CGST next SGST... CGST set off to first CGST next IGST... SGST set off first SGST next IGST....

11 October 2017 i want to ask suppose output igst 200 itc sgst 500 itc cgst 300 so i want to adjust output igst from sgst i.e 500-200 so that i am left with 300 sgst and 300 cgst

11 October 2017 No.... IGST to CGST first.... CGST Rs. 300 - 200 IGST = 100 CGST and 500 SGST...
