04 October 2013 I am doing articleship and had been registered under the CA since Feb'13 but haven't received my ID Card. Please guide me whether is it necessary to have an ID card.

04 October 2013 you should immediately write a letter to icai its almost more then 8 months from your reg and also meet the consrened articleship reg officer in your nearest icai regional chapter .all the best. dont worry u will get it.

04 October 2013 Call up ICAI - Articles @ 044-30210315 and also use e-sahyatta...

OR

Visit the regional ICAI branch where you were registered for articleship,
along with Articleship letter and other CA related certificates...
Either they will provide you the the ID card or they will issue a duplicate for the same...
