head of service tax on rent on genertor

22 June 2009 Sir,
We are having regn. of service tax in the head of
1 Renting of immovable property services and
2 Maintenance and repair serive
Now we are charging rent on generator services of one tenant of commercial office in our building.
Can we issue service tax invoice by using the same regn. number or there are any other head of service tax registeration required for raising rent bill for generator.

22 June 2009 Only single registration is required for service tax under the Finance Act,1994. However, the service provider can render either single service or multiple service under that single registration number.
