Gst rate on sub contract work from main contractor

20 February 2018 sir kindly tell is we are pvt ltd company doing road work awarded by main contractor a Pvt ltd company say "X" and the same work to main contractor "x' is awarded by statement govt as per the gst notification the rate is 12% for govt,local bodies and authorities and 18% to private companies now at what rate we have to pay gst @ 12 % or 18%

24 February 2018 sir that means the work allotted by govt,local bodies or authorities to a contractor (Main) and from that contractor (Main) to Sub contractor and go on any number of contractors for the same work the gst rate what ever is applicable to main contractor is applicable to all the subcontractors.
