Gst rate on fabric is 5 upto rs 1000 n thereafter 12 ..But which gst rate will be applicable to Tailor who stitches cloths?? N this is a service.. So what will be SAC code...Please reply!!!Thanks Regards

If assessee is engaged in the business of making wearing apparel then he will be covered under 'Wearing apparel manufacturing services' having SAC-998822.
However, if the assessee is engaged in the business of repairing garments then he will be covered under 'Repair services of garments and household textiles' having SAC-998723.
Both the services are chargeable to GST at the rate of 18%.
However, if the assessee is engaged in the business of repairing garments then he will be covered under 'Repair services of garments and household textiles' having SAC-998723.
