Gift to minor child

Father has gifted Rs. 10 Lakh cash to his minor child. Pls let me know weather the amount of 10 Lakh shall be exempt in both the father and minor child?
Also tell me since the child is minor weather this 10 Lakh shall be clubbed in the father income?
