Hello All
I want to know whether a husband can give gift to his wife . If yes how much?
If wife is a housewife and if wife is earning.
My client has deposited amount of cash around 18lac in her wife account
My question is this what income i should show of her wife?

Husband can gift ANY amount to his wife.
The source of CASH may be questioned... You need to be ready with the explanation of source of such a big amount of CASH
