09 August 2018 Tax deposited under RCM on Freight @5.00%. Is it available for Input tax Credit. Eg. If I have paid 50000.00 to transporter and deposited tax under RCM @ 5.00% which comes to Rs. 2500.00. Is it possible to avail the credit of 2500.00 against my total liability.
