Hi,
Pl let me know where in form 16, i need to show the salary income and the TDs deducted by Ex-emp in new employer form16 for FY-2008-09.
Since income from salary for the FY 2008-09 is from 2 employer.

Under the head any income reported by employee.

It is to be shown in separate form no.12B and not in form 16.

I am taking into consideration the income from salary from Ex-employer for calculating the tds applicable for current employer.
How do i justify that the tds calculated is correct and issue the form16 accordingly.
IF i donot mentioned the income from salary from previous employer in form16 then the tds deducted will be more.
please advice

The income from previous employer is to be shown under 'Any other income reported by the employee' and TDS deducted by the previous employer is to be shown in Annexure A.
