24 December 2013 Dear all I am manufacturer of plastic products like all tipes of caps in Gujarat. I want to purchase machinery from out of Gujarat. I am not registered dealer. Can i purchase machineries without form no. 402/ 403. How....???

24 December 2013 Being a manufacturer you must register your firm under Gujarat VAT if yor sale crosses Rs 5 lakh in a year. Without getting a registration under Guj vat Act you can not issue a form 402 or 403,because in these forms you have to fill in your VAT and CST registration nos,registered address and other details.Without all necessary details the forms will not be accepted by a transporter and also by checkpost authorities. If caught without proper documents at CPs heavy penalty will be levied......mjk
