Form 25c md appoinment related

Dear Sir
Our Company has appointed Director in 2004 and continuously designating his as MD in balance sheet P/L etc. in all conversation but our COMPANY HAS NOT FILED FORM 25C HENCE , MCA data shows still our director as a DIRECTOR only. BUT WE WANT TO MAKE HIM MANAGING DIRECTOR since 2004 by filing FORM 25C today. Is It possible? what will be the penalty and Procedure therefore?

Yes you can file it back dated by paying additional filing fee.
