08 August 2012 Dear expert,
In online return, while giving details of TDS in TDS2 other than salary. I have 2 form 16A for 2 different quarters but from same deductor.
Now I should give details of 2 form 16A in two different rows or I should put total of both form 16A
Please advise me.

08 August 2012 It is advisable that you give it in different rows since the TDS certificate number would be different for each certificate

However, since TDS certificate number is not mandatory, you can give it in single line also.

But the first given option sounds better

08 August 2012 Itr 4s ask for 8 digit certificate no. but on the form 16a downloaded from nsdl, there are only 6 digits, now what to do?

08 August 2012 currently that field is not mandatory , so the return will get uploaded. In other fields, where the length falls short by some digits, it accepts less digits. In this, we need to wait till it becomes mandatory.

08 August 2012 I have filed by filling total of both tds certificates, whether it would cause any proplem.
