One of the important changes in regards to Forex trading is that in year 2008 Reserve Bank of India has finally allowed currency futures trading. Speculative trading became a permissible operation too - since it became impossible to ask for a proof of a hedging need.
With the advent of Internet, Forex trading offers unlimited opportunities to explore the financial markets. With no contraint on Time (24 hs X 5 days) & Space (can be traded anywhere with online facilities), Forex trading is seen as the future of Indian Financial trading scenario in the 21st century.
And so yes you can do that....Also try some local agency and brokers offering the same so that you wont have problem in doucmentation and transfers.

I will suggest you to meet them and also some PSU banks as from 2008 its allowed.. For the limits and all meet some brokers and agency
