I have a basic doubt. If a finance minister announces Budget IT tax rates in Mar 2014. Whether these rates are applicable for the income earned in 2013-14(2013-14) or income to be earned in 2014-15 (AY 2015-16)?

Applicable for Income to be earned in FY 2014-15 i.e., AY 2015-16.
