13 October 2012 Can any one tell me when can a person fill the NO ACCOUNT CASE in ITR-4.

If I have a gross receipts of Rs. 3,00,000/- and i want to pay the tax, hen can i fill th no account case or i have to file my P&L and Balance Sheet???

13 October 2012 If no accounts maintain then you can fill in Gross Receipt and what ever payable tax there pay it and file the returns..

13 October 2012 If regular books are not maintained then you need not submit p&l and B/S details. You can file the return showing the gross receipt and gross profit only.

14 October 2012 But can I pay the Tax, if i used the no account case option.

14 October 2012 In case of no account option also, if your income comes above the taxable limit than you will have to pay tax.

08 October 2021 If you are not liable to keep books of account as per sec. 44AA(2) of IT act, or if you wish to declare income under presumptive assessment, in that case the details under 'No account Case' in ITR 4, are required to be filled.
