can i file a belated return for AY 2017-18 now? if so, how it could be filed? i.e, can we file like as if we are filing returns for AY 2018-19 through income tax website or is there any manual application procedures have to be done?
i have gross total income of 420000 but tax payable after deductions is nil? if yes, is there any penalty leviable? if so, how much?
answering my question in simple language is very useful i.e., without using too much income tax language

You cannot file returns for AY 2017-18 now. Only was is to get a notice from Jurisdictional Income tax officer for filing of return, but not suggestible as goes into scrutiny of your income sources and bank statements
