Dear Experts,
One of my friend asks me to file return from the asst. year 2008-09,2009-10 and 2010-11.Is it possible to file the returns for all the 3 assessment years. I think only for asst. year 2010-11 we can file the belated return. Since for the other 2 asst. years one year from the end of the relavant assessment years is over we cant even file the belated returns.
Please inform me whether i am right in this regard.

Income tax return for the assessment year 2008-09 is barred by time and hence cannot be filed,now, voluntarily. But the the rest of the two years can be filed voluntarily or otherwise.
