Mrs. XYZ sold Flat for Rs 4000000/- which was Purchased before 6th Month for Rs. 13,80,000/- n did reinvest Rs. 1685000/- in the name of Her Sisters. As she is now of 75 yrs old n did not hv money for tax payment...whether she receives exemption for reinvest in the name of Sister or not ?

It is a short term capital gain no exemption available. No exemption for investment in sister's name.
