Exemption under section 54f availability

whether exemption under 54f is available for purchasing a property against which a loan is taken by the seller , and i repay bank loan on the property. also will it be considered as my cost of aquisition.

Repayment of loan is also part of investment in house property hence it will be considered as cost of acquisition provided you repay the entire loan at the time of purchase.
