Dear all
If my mother received a gift from my father's sister's husband. In hindi "fufaji". It is exempted in both the hands of donor and donee or not.
Please reply as soon as possible.

It is NOT taxable in the hands of your mother.
(Spouse of the sister) of the (spouse) of the (recipient) is covered in the definition of relative.
