Excess Excise Duty

I have paid some excess excise duty in month of October through sales bill for that month i have also submited the my monthly ER 1 return now i want know what is processure taking back the excess amount of excise duty from Department.

In my views you should take credit back of excess duty paid in your cenvat account and put remarks in cenvat account

what remark i have to mark in cenvat books what about my ER 1 return it can be revised or not we can do with intimating with range officer.

put remarks detail of excess duty.better to intimate to range superintendant also.
