We have purchased goods and generated eway bill ourself. Will ITC BE VALID on generation of eway bill by us as we are buyers. Please clarify?

Usually, the seller is responsible for e-way bill generation. However, under certain circumstances, the buyer may be the one required to generate an e-way bill.
In cases where neither the seller nor the transporter has generated an e-way bill, the buyer may generate the e-way bill

What are the circumstances under which buyer is required to generate eway bill? Can buyer generate eway bill in normal times on basis of sellers invoice. Please clarify?

E-way bill can be generated by any of the following - Seller, buyer or transporter.
It is an industry practice that a seller usually generates E-way bill. But a buyer can also generate. For one transportation only one e-way bill is required.
Therefore in normal circumstances also a buyer can generate an e-way bill

Will the eway bill generated by the buyer will be treated at par with eway bill generated by the seller. Please clarify? Can eway bill become invalid after expiry of validity period?

Yes an e-way bill generated by buyer is as good as one generated by seller. But both don't have to generate e-way bill for a single transportation. Either one can generate
