Self assessment tax of A.Y. 2012-13 has been paid as advance tax for A.Y. 2013-14 due to some error.
So there is any solution to rectify the error ????

Solution to all problem can be had provided the full facts are mentioned or stated.
You have not disclosed so far (though Mr Bhargava has asked twice) if the payment was made online or manually through Bank and when it was paid.
However, for the information of other tax payers the CHALLAN CORRECTION MECHANISM is available as under: visit incometaxindia.gov.in and on your left side bottom at home page there is a button CHALLAN CORRECTION MECHANISM. Read it and do as applicable.

Still you are not giving the full facts of your problem.
The date of deposit should have been given.
If it is within Seven days then you will visit the bank branch for rectification and if it is more that seven days then your area I Tax Officer will help you.
