E filling of return

02 October 2012 Respected Sir,

One of Our Client have not filled Return for last two years i.e. A.Y. 11-12 & A.Y. 12-13, and we forget the password, other problem is when they have registered for e filling E Mail ID is wrong in that.

Now my question is how we Get password for E Filling again?

Kindly do reply as early as possible.

03 October 2012 If your PAN is already registered for E-filing, then you might have received the Password.
In case of wrong mail ID registered, U might not have received the active link for e-filing.

If U forgot the password=> Go to Login=> click forgot password => It will ask 3 options either (1) secret question answer, or (2) E-acknowledgement & bank account no.of previous e-return, or (3) PAN details

Select 3 for easy process.

If u entered wrong email => Login with PAN => it will ask u to mention new mail ID for activation
U will get new link for activation for e-filing

03 October 2012 Pass word reset facility is available on alternate email ID also in addition to Registered EMail id. You can request password on alternate Email ID in addition to Registered Email ID.
You may use “Pass word reset” on incometaxindia.gov.in or "forgot Password" utility on home page, Or you may email to validate@incometaxindia.gov.in , giving details.
