IS IT NECESSARY TO FILE E-RETURN IN FORM NO. ITR-4 (AUDITED U/S 44AB) EVEN IF THE SAME IS FILED PHYSICALLY BEFORE 09/07/2010 (i.e. BEFORE THE NOTIFICATION OF COMPULSORY E-FILLING ISSUED)

The notification should apply prospectively so in my opinion the return need not be filed again electronically.
