DTA Sales under STPI unit

20 June 2009 we are a software company under STPI, we r going to start DTA sales from now onweards and already obtained DTA approval from STPI.

would really appreciate if please advise what paper work or record we need to maintain under Custom and Excise.

30 June 2009 If you are seeling packaged software, it attracts Central Excise duty which is required to be paid. If you provide IT Services, Service Tax is required to be paid.
