Doubt regarding new announcement of transfer

27 September 2010 Ref - Transfer /termination of articles is permitted without any restriction
during the first year of articles.

i need to get a transfer from my firm. Ive joined there on on August 9 2010.
Should i first write to institute for consent before getting Form 109 signed?
Can i transfer in the same city itself.?

27 September 2010 Since transfer is allowed freely, i believe you are not required to get prior consent of the institute.

28 September 2010 Institute has given a word of caution that articled assistants seeking transfer may get permission from Institute before signing form 109. In view of that, it is better to follow the above said instruction as an abundant caution.
