Dividend distribution tax

13 October 2011 Dear All Experts,

I have paid the dividend distribution tax thru challan 280 the day before yesterday..

Do I need to intimate/inform Income tax department regarding the same..???
If yes within how many days of the payment of DDT, the same needs to be informed to income tax department???
Please quote the relevant provisions / section/circular/notification if any of income tax..
