20 June 2012 Could anybody throw some light on the difference between disclosure norms for private ltd co and public ltd co??

20 June 2012 that means there is no difference in disclosure norms for pvt and public? both are required to disclose in the same way?

Section 299 relating to disclosure of interest by directors will apply to public and private limited company.

This provision will not apply to section 25 company.

Yes section 274(1) (g) in which director give Form-DDI that he is not disqualified under this section.

This sub section will apply only to public company. For more details go to my profile and see my article on 274(1) (g).
