27 May 2011 First name as per NSDL (Applying PAN) is the Father name of the Applicant whereas the First name as per DIN1 Form is the Applicants name himself. Hence while attaching the PAN No. as proof of identity it gets rejected in online verification.What is the solution. Expecting a reply

the pan card rule will not applicabel for DIN.

mention the first name (father) as last name

& last name (applicant) as first name.

it will approve
