21 April 2011 is it possible for a minor to get a Director's identification number.

21 April 2011 Sec. 264 is not applicable to private company. Hence, in Pvt. Co. minor CAN BE A DIRECTOR (unless AoA has specifically excluded him).
You all must be aware that for becoming a director, DIN is mandatory. Hence, if minor is going to be appointed in private co., DIN can be allotted to him.
I have not tried it yet but I think it is possible because on one hand where minor can be a director in pvt co - on other hand MCA can't deny this by rejecting DIN to minor.
