Different name in bank a/c

03 June 2012 My client is Having Bank A/c with Vijay Kumar name where as on PAN his name is Sagar Dnyneshwar Dhole.....He has to get refund of Rs.32000, Can I put his Bank Name In ITR....will there be any problem in getting refund....?

04 June 2012 off course there will be problem..
what kind of question you asking, will the bank accept a refund cheque in clearing which is deposited in x's account but as been in favour of Y.

04 June 2012 But if in ITR if I mention name which appears in Bank a/c insted of PAN name then in which name cheque will be issued..?

if you mention wrong name in ITR than your ITR will be procesed?.. answer is NO

.. why not consider changing Name in PAN or opening an A/c with the name in Pan card...

05 June 2012 The intension of this question is absolutely wrong because a person having different name is not possible in eye of law specially for Income tax purpose.

suggession: Open a bank account based on PAN name and accordingly encased the cheque. However banker not accepting those cheque which was issued earlier than the date of account opening but if the banker satisfied with genueniness of the person
