Membership number and COP number are not the same. Membership number is given to all members, while COP is only for those in practice. COP uses the same number but indicates practicing status.

There is no concept of COP No. Once u qualify you will apply for membership wherein you will be allotted a No enrolling your name in the Register of Members.
The next option is to opt for COP , if you opt for COP then your membership No well remain same only your status will change as Member in practise .

There is no difference in cop no and membership no so you can enter the same number. Make sure there is difference in men No and firm No. So In roc filing are they asking for Mem No and COP No or Firm No ?
