Dear experts,
Can a partnership concern claim depreciation on car registered in one of partner name however the same is being used for business purpose as well as for personal purpose also.

Yes it can be claimed, disallow part of depreciation for personal use.

Firm can claim depreciation. Inference is from Rajasthan High court decision in CIT Vs. Mohd. Bux shokat Ali (2002) 256 ITR 357.
