I have filed my I.T.Return on 29/09/2011 showing tax payable of Rs.30,840/- which is paid by me On 14/10/2011 under head 300-Self Assessment Tax.
Now CPC given notice of demand for that tax & guided me to make payment under head 400-Tax on regular Ass.
What can I do?
Pl. guide me.

You can reply to the notice with copy of challan/Form 26AS.
