29 December 2014 Sir,
In Travel industry generally compaies receive trasport bills after one to two months of availment of service and deducting tds on receipt of bill or during making entry in the books.
Suppose Bill date is 01.4.2014 and company is receiving bils in the month of june,2014 and deducting tds in the month of june,2014.
Will it amount to delay in tds deduction and will it attract interest?

Please provide some assistence.

Regards

29 December 2014 You have received the bill only in June and no liability has been created in the books earlier, Making TDS in June will not attract any interest.
